Pamela Stokes Eggleston, MBA, E-RYT 500, is coexecutive director of the Yoga Service Council. She is a contributing editor of Best Practices for Yoga With Veterans and a contributor to the upcoming Best Practices for Yoga with Survivors of Sexual Trauma.

A HeartMath coach, focusing on mental, spiritual and emotional stress through a heart-centered approach, Eggleston is also the researcher/author of Yoga Therapy as a Complementary Modality for Female Veteran Caregivers with Traumatic Stress: A Case Study.

Eggleston founded Yoga2Sleep due to her challenges with insomnia and secondary post-traumatic stress (PTS), and is also a cofounder of the Conservancy for Cultural Competence.

A yoga teacher, meditation guide and yoga therapist, Pamela Stokes Eggleston has practiced yoga for nearly 20 years and completed specialized training to include certifications in plant-based nutrition, yoga therapy, and yoga for trauma and PTS for veterans, service members, and military families. Through Yoga2Sleep partnerships, she collaborates with the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA hospitals, Wounded Warrior Project, Dog Tag Bakery, Hope for the Warriors and others.
