Our campus is closed in 2020. But we're still here for you. Join Omega Conversations with favorite teachers, and our private  Facebook Group community.

Have you tried everything to relieve chronic muscle pain and physical discomfort, only to find short-term relief—or none at all? Trauma, stress, and repetitive actions can change not only how we sense ourselves but how we move over time, locking us into physical discomfort and emotional disconnect from ourselves. Over time we can become a product of our habits and stress responses. Eliminating muscle pain, stiffness, and the feeling of “getting old” starts with the brain and how it senses and moves us. This is the key to flexibility and freedom of movement.

Clinical Somatic Educator and movement expert Martha Peterson teaches you how to restore fluid, effortless, and joyful movement on your own—at any time and place. Learn to restore your brain’s ability to relax your muscles, stop habitual pain and tightening, improve coordination and stability, and lengthen muscles safely without stretching.

Be more present and comfortable in your body and life. Return home with a daily routine of easy, safe, and effective movements that restore improved muscle function and achieve long-term pain relief.

Enrollment is limited for this program; register early.

Faculty recommends you read the following books in preparation for the course:

  • Move Without Pain by Martha Peterson
  • Somatics: Reawakening The Mind’s Control Of Movement, Flexibility, And Health by Thomas Hanna
