Life is full of transitions—birth, leaving home, big moves, job changes, marriage, sobriety, divorce, death, and more. These profound moments change us, but we often miss the opportunity to mark them and acknowledge their purpose, meaning, and insight.

Guided by artist Day Schildkret, you learn a tangible, accessible, and powerful tool to honor and sanctify life’s cycles and transitions based on the 7-step process popularized in his book Morning Altars. Inspired by nature, you create a personal altar and rituals specifically for what you’re going through in your life while simultaneously strengthening your capacity to bring wonder, gratitude, creativity, and nonattachment to each moment—practices that make your life richer and more resilient for whatever transitions are ahead.

Anyone who loves nature and is looking for a hands-on creative practice for moving through a life transition with grace and beauty is welcome.
